Marty, always eager to display his willingness to acquire a new scar, demonstrates his technique of relocating the viper. Many of the pics you'll see on this blog are "graffiti's and periodical retaliations" of graffiti's penned by the most special kind of idiots for the purpose of illuminating the worst part of the work day, namely those moments where you can't manage to leave the jobsite and find proper facilities and forced to use "the penalty box", "the taco stand", or simply "the porto-shitter". The words written on these walls have left an indelible mark on my soul, and possibly a stain on my shirt sleave depending on where the toilet paper is located. If you'll notice on the right of vent tube, it reads "mexican space shuttle", to the left on the vent it reads "mexican birth canal"

I've always been a sucker for a good limmerick, but rarely do I find one with such an accurate statement. I'm sure anyone who has worked construction including our "amigos"from the south will agree, america has been built with the aid of a "well utilized tool" it has been my experience for many years there is a reason even the most foul mouthed fiends on these jobs manage to keep from getting their asses beaten much to the disbelief of the corporate wankers with clipboards who walk the job pretending to know what's going on. Perhaps there's more in their briefcases than papers pertaining to codes and job specs. Roll on.

I know this isn't the greatest picture, but so intriguing. I'm not sure what the law stipulates, but this is the second hitchhiker to be seated firmly against this "no hitchhiking" sign. This fellow traveler may be within his rights by "thumbin' it" at the bottom of the exit, but not sure. Gonna go back to VA. soon and I hope to get lucky enough to get a better photo.

O.K. folks meet my best friend and co-worker Marty.[he makes more money than me.]Marty's quite possibly the greatest hunter/fisherman I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. He may not have the most expensive equipment, but he's NEVER failed to out hunt, out fish or out trap even the most seasoned or wealthy sportsman. here he is holding the most poisonous fish in the ocean; a Scorpion fish.Much to his dismay,it was caught by our boss,friend and fishing sponsor, Paul.[Go Paul!!!] When asked just how big these things get, The Capt. exclaimed "you're lookin' at it!!!This fish is the most expensive mounted fish or for your aquarium. The Capt. also mentioned how rare they are and even though he takes 30 to 40 people out to fish up to three times a day, he only sees maybe one a year caught. Naturally, the boss is getting it mounted.

TN Timber Rattler

While clearing property for a friend, this rattler found himself under a lawnmower. The creature continued to bite at anything and nothing due to reflexes, so I had to cut it's head off and hide it under a rock to protect the dogs. An unfortunate end for such a beautiful creature, although their are many more in the area. This one didn't go to waste though, it was put in some olive oil and quickly "masticated" [rare vittles]
